Not necessarily. White Wolf may be gone, but the World of Darkness setting, both the original and WW's second set of games, were picked up by another publisher. And like any good tabletop role playing game, all you need to play is a good group and for one person to have the books. It's a good game setting, so I wouldn't be surprised if people are still playing it somewhere decades from now.
