Ar'kaius, the god of pure magic [it/its]. Curious to a fault. A child of tragedy. Born of the massed magical energies in the Ascendant Calamity (The beginning for Time of Howling). The magically fueled great ark, and the Arcane God-Shield.

The eighth and final Primordial to awake. Born of all magics of the world, becoming the first of a new kind of magic... What some may call "pure magic" in that most any type of spell can be woven, so long as you have the imagination for it. More accurately referred to as Soul Magic by those learned in it's ways.

A curious, eccentric being. Ar'kaius was born of the clashing of technology and divine power. It hardly understood itself, let alone the world around it, especially as it appeared out of thin air in that great explosion, and subsequently plummeted to the earth below. It's heart is gripped by a want to know everything, to understand everything. Some might call it learned, wise even. But do not be fooled. 'Kaius is a creature devoid of emotion, more akin to a machine trapped within a single directive than a thinking being with complex needs.
Only fools or foolhardy seek it's hoarded troves of books from ages past, and trivia facts of people already long dead.
It was born alone, and chooses to remain so, hiding in the most inhospitable place in our known world, and it's best left that way.
