Recentibus was built primarily out of concern for the world, particularly the "environmentalists" who are wanting to permanently phase out steam engines by banning coal burning in favor of electric engines, which to me feels like banning people from eating meat. And that was just ONE of the problems I've seen involving these people. For quite some time, I couldn't even look at recycling symbols without getting upset. But after discussing with  Blueratmatt about the right way(s) of going green, I decided to build my own engine to represent what being environmentally friendly truly is.

I built Recentibus from scratch and built her as an electric to show that we can still use steam engines while moderating. Given my only experience with electrics was owning Hound for a while, It took me some trial and error to work out all the kinks, but it was very much worth it. After that I decided to give Recentibus a rather colorful livery that shows that while green IS a main earth color, it is NOT the only color our environment has to offer, we also have red, orange, yellow, blue, and brown.

With that said, I hope that Recentibus will be the start of a revelation for how to truly keep the environment that sustains us and that we can go green the right way.
