Duncan had seen Sabrina's digs and wanted to show her his place, but whenever he mentioned it she thought that since he lived with his trainer that they would not be able to do fun stuff together and was reluctant. When she finally told him her concerns Duncan explained that his trainer is cool but that Pokemon have a whole other place to go to when they want to get away. A place where we can sleep in if the trainer gets up early, a place where we can be alone as can be and it has all the best gaming consoles and gigabit internet.

So they rode the bus from her place in the burbs to a small village north of town to a sprawling tri level house and went inside. Trainer was not home but he showed her the oversized place, the bowling alley kitchen, the huge basement theater, the computer room set up for room scale VR but then across from the computer room he showed her his room, leaving the lights out to hide the clutter she saw what looked like a pokeball on a stand. This, he said was his baller apartment where they can cook and eat, watch movies, play video games and share a bed in peace. And that if anyone snores the other can escape into the pokeball on the TV.
