The Ex-Captain of squad 7 has returned! Seriously, I didn't like how the manga pretty much made him go against his beliefs and morals and became another Tousen, resulting in him turning into a four-legged normal wolf. Yeah...I hate it, thanks. So this is a sort of "what if" scenario where Sajin finds a way to turns back into a werewolf beast and regains his soul reaper powers. However, Tenken receives a mini upgrade from his previous version. While the Zanpakuto's sealed state looks similar, the guard is now shaped like a wolf and the guard wrapping is burgundy red. The release command is still "Roar, Tenken!" but rather than summoning a large armored body part, his Zanpakuto transforms into dual clawed gauntlets (I think thats what these are called). He can use them for basic offensive attacks but also use them in different ways:
A) Charging the blades up deals extra damage
B) He can fire projectiles of concentrated spiritual energy through the tip of the blades like that of a gatling gun
C) Placing both hands/claws together, he can charge up a ball of fire/spiritual energy and release it as a large beam.
I think this version of him is better in my opinion. He'd be more carefree now that he isn't held down by his debt of Yamamoto or hold any anger/guilt by Tousen's betrayal and his demise by Aizen. I'd like to see him be a bit out of character, maybe acting a little silly, being competitive in a sparring match or blushing at being called cute.

Thank you. Yeah, It's not even the fact that an anthro character got shafted but that a character that has such great qualities had many missed opportunities to flesh out his own story and be involved with the plot. Anytime he is present in the story, it coincides with another character's own story, never his own. Hell, he is seen more in short filler/funny episodes or short clips. The last arc he was in feels more like they crammed all his backstory and personal development into short chapters, which was rushed and didn't help his character at all in the end.
tite kubo is an amazing artist, BUT ALSO A TERRIBLE WRITER.
basically, he created too many characters on bleach, and never explored them properly, he basically commited the main mistake of shonen manga, TO THINK WE LIKE SHONEN BECAUSE IT HAS 1000 CHARACTERS, we like shonen, when there's few characters, but all have their time under the spotlight. that's why dragon ball z, no matter how repetitive, always works, while series like bleach become nothing but a colossal resting place for wasted opportunities, and characters.
and, there is also shonen manga's absolute hate for anthro characters, the ants arc of hunter x hunter is the best example of that, anthro characters are basically there to be defeated by human characters, just to mae human characters look better. that's why i just stay away from any shonen story with anthros, overlord did it, hunter x hunter did it.
i mean, EVEN THE DIGIMON MANGA LEFT LEOMON ALIVE AND EXPLORED HIM AS A CHARACTER, DIGIMON. MANGA. TREATED ANTHRO CHARACTERS BETTER THAN BLEACH DID...let that sink in.

I definitely agree with you on the number of characters introduced in Bleach. It's pretty hard to delve into each and every character's backstory, personality, goals, and abilities. If they just focus on key characters at the start then they would've had an easier time with introducing us to more members of Gotei 13 as oppose to cramming them all into the same arcs/chapters.
I actually never seen Hunter X Hunter s I may take a look at that. Unfortunately for many animes, anthro characters arent the focal point of their show, nor are they prioritized for anything other than conflict/being enemies. Some shows do cater to giving anthro characters better treatment and involvement to the plot.

Thank you. I'd be less mad if they handled his character a lot better along with additional backstories exclusive to him. Plus, I'd like him to be more active in the plots. It would've made his sacrifice more honorable if he did it out of concern for his comrades and as a last resort rather than just giving into vengeance.
