(Furaffinity) - Today, an artist's personal Thank You became a tragic nearly life-ending event.
Witnesses say that the artist known as 'Thorn' was being given a very personal Thank You snuzzel by Peaches when disaster struck.
"It was horrible", said Peaches' artist, BlackTiger. "I mean... It was a whole buncha great going on, and the next thing I know there he is, laying out, stiff as a board with a smile about as big as... well... 45 Tripple-E."
Peaches herself seemed somewhat nun-plussed. "Wehl, he's suchah gooood boy and has such, MMmmm! GREAT hands; It seemed so wrong to NOT give him such an equally big show of my liking him!"
Police have ruled this an accidental smothering while rescue workers claim Thorn should be alright in a few days, once the stiffness wears off.
(Sorry, it just came to me...)

I know they run them at Anime conventions. As for Furry, I have not seen one yet and I really think that should change. It was cool to watch groups of artists put their drawing talents together within such a short amount of time.
An Iron Artist contest is when 2 groups of artists (3 people per group) draw a given theme decided by the contest holder in a 1-hour time limit. The judging would be done on creativity, cleanliness and actual focus on the topic.
The first Iron Artist contest I saw had Fred Perry as one of the group Iron Artists, and he's been winning every time. He was so fast at getting one image done that he started on another & linked it to the first, then link those to with his other group members to make it a poster size image. It was truly killah how they all worked together as a team and managed to collab their efforts into one image.
I personally believe that a proposal of such should be done at more conventions, because I"m sure everyone loves to watch artists draw (Namely everyone that gets into OC sessions), so I know this would be a very good addition to any line up.
Since I'm very familiar with how it's performed, I could actually host it, online & off. The only problem with that is that I have nothing to offer as a prize. However, I have an idea about that, but I'll have to speak with some others to see if it would work for them. If any were interested, I could see about having things set up and even see if it can be worked into a con activity.
