This started out as a drawing I did at Confuzzled 2022 but I decided to digitalise it.
Basically, Claudia is feeling a bit insecure since, despite the fact her mom died over 20 years ago in a mugging struggle, she still occasionally thinks about her. It's mainly since Claudia grew up with Tina's mother who she didn't really like which somewhat made her insecure. Tina overhears Claudia crying and basically comfort's her. Tina also sympathises with Claudia a bit since Tina didn't always get along with her mother either.
In case you didn't know, the two sisters only share the same dad and there's a 5 year gap between the two (Claudia is 26 while Tina is 21).
Claudia then appreciates Tina's company since Tina is generally the happy and sweet one. Despite the fact that Claudia occasionally finds Tina annoying and unfunny, deep down, she is thankful for her as a half-sister and Claudia appreciates that Tina is trying to cheer her up.
I will probably do a full comic of the situation in time but for now, I basically wanted to show the relationship between the two sisters.
