A gift I did for a friend last year for Christmas. I really loved how Ninetails herself came out, but the background is, well, just sort of there. :/ Oh well. I've improved my marker technique since I drew this, so I'm not too worried. :)

Anyway, little extra tidbit of unneeded info.
Heh, short strokes are good, just not on plain backgrounds needing little attention.

Lol, yeah. I have to say that my work isn't really like this -coloring wise- much anymore. I use a saturation technique to help the colors blend a lot more. I just liked this and decided to post it XD
