A sketch of the monster seen in the novel "The Monstrumologist". An anthropophagi, or man-devourer, is a beast whose body shape is meant to roughly imitate that of a headless human being, with its eyes and mouth located on the chest area. The reason this one has a missing limb is because of a grooming ritual gone wrong. For bonding, an Anthropophagi will clean another's teeth by sticking its hand into the mouth and gently scraping the teeth. However, if his hand slips and he accidentally scratches the inside of the mouth, the other's jaws clamp shut, severing the arm. This is a young male, with a size comparison to a grown human man.
Before you ask, that's a cloaca, not a vagina. I really didn't feel like drawing a penis, and I think cloacas are an ingenious method of nature, so nyeh.
Anthropophagi belong to Rick Yancey.
This fan-made specimen belongs to me.
