This serves two purposes... one as a preview for a (hopefully) upcoming collaboration project with
SabahAA and two as another example to use for my iron artist challenge, of my grayscale or shaded "addition" ... See the actual Iron Artist discount will be for sketches @ $5 (per character) but there will also be fairly decently priced additions (lines, colors, etc) you can choose from if you so desire. (ignore the quarterassed background-like thing... I swear I tried to flesh it out, but it looked so awful I just chucked it)
Anywho, I need to think of a name for Bill in this alternate universe (as a slave in the Roman Empire) because I doubt there were many Williams about, unless there was the occasional anglo-saxon slave, but even then I don't know if the name was in use in that time period. Amg research >.<

By the way way, why does everyone pick on us asses if someone is looking for a slave, subspecies or so on? The only thing a horse is better than an ass is in pure running speed. In every other way us asses are the Superior species. We are smarter, heather, we can handle terrain that no horse can, We can survive places where a horse would die of starvation.
I think it's because the hardy ass can handle the heavy load, whereas horses (except for the big clydesdales and such) are too dainty. But in the Greek/Roman time anyone could be a slave, it just depended on where you were from and who conquered whom. So were this to be made into something more than it's planned to be (unlikely), it's not as if all the slaves would be donkeys, there would be a variety of animals in different and interchangeable status roles.
