Finally a day to just relax. Don’t have to worry about any quests or deal with any intimidating dungeons. The dragon gets some alone time and get to spend time with Razew and do some light training. But today someone decided to forget they were having company. He yawns and stretches in his bed when he hears a knock on the door. Who could it be at this time in the morning. “JUST ONE SECOND!” Warez yells out while jumping out of bed scrambling around looking for clothes. Meanwhile Rawez flies on over to the front door and opens it saying
“Hello I’m Razew, and who might you be?”
“Oh you’re the amazing Razew that Warez has been talking about, I’m Jester, nice to meet you.”
“You’re friends with Master Warez? Does that mean we get to be friends too?!” Razew says with an enthusiastic smile on his face. “Uhm, heh sure why not.” Before their conversation could continue any further Warez cuts in and intervenes “Razew what have I told you about opening up the door for anyone? Did you already forget what happened last time?”
Jester looks and sees Warez in just his Pokéball boxers and says “You forgot didn’t you?”
The dragon looks puzzled in the face and tries to guess and begins saying “uuhh…Happy—“
“OUR MAGIC LESSON! Gosh you’re so forgetful, you promised to teach a complete novice like myself to learn some magic.” Jester says cutting off Warez. Feeling a little embarrassed, Warez had nothing to say but to open the door fully and let in his long time friend into his humble abode and get to work. As they sit on the couch Warez begins to explain the basics of wizardry. The day goes by with tutorials after explanations after visual representations to put as much info into the wickerbeast’s cranium. But attempt after attempt Jester wasn’t able to cast anything, not even the most basic of cantrips. Warez scratches his head and shouts out “AAAHHH! I’m not sure what’s the problem, we went over all the material I know and then some. You should be able to at least show you’ve made some progress, even if the spell isn’t complete. We’ve been at this for nearly…12 hours and we haven’t made any progress. I feel like I’ve failed you.” He sinks into the couch looking tired and defeated and places a pillow on his face to hide his embarrassment.
Jester puts his hand on Warez’s shoulder and says reassuringly “Well don’t beat yourself up too much about it, this isn’t the first time someone has tried to teach me.”
“Wait really?!” Says Warez under the pillow
“Hehe yeah, they all failed in showing a noob like yours truly anything. But I ain’t surprised, not like wickerbeasts can learn magic anyways.” as Jester goes back to practicing.
Warez removes the pillow from his face and slowly turns to face his friend looking more than unimpressed and slightly bit annoyed. “You. Can’t. WHAT!!?”
Looking completely oblivious to the dragon’s frustration Jester says with a smirk and a big grin on his face, “Oh, did I forget to mention that? Why do you think I’m a professional at alchemy?” He starts to laugh but is interrupted when he looks to his right and notices the dragon looming over before pouncing on him pinning him down with his size unable to move.
“Who’s the forgetful one now? Now I gotta figure out what to do with you for ‘wasting’ my time.”
