Everyone, say hello to Spunky Ray! Spunky is a 9 month old chihuahua/mix pup that was abandoned at my work place after he was admitted for parvo treatment. The owners couldn't afford to pay his bill (even though a percentage is required up front), so they signed him over to us.

Obviously he pulled through parvo! He's been with us for nearly two and a half months, and he's been looking for a home with no luck!

He's pretty bashful, so I've decided to start bringing him home with me a couple times a week to get him socialized. He's a sweet little dog once he is comfortable, but he can be very timid with new people, which is why he hasn't found a home--no one will give the poor guy a chance!

I'm also dragging him along on park trips, and we are attempting to learn how to walk on a leash. That seems to be an issue right now, haha.

He's an extremely affectionate, friendly little bugger. This is the first night he's been home with me, and he is acting like he's always lived here, lol. It can't be the bajillion other dogs, can it? XD Speaking of, he is VERY good with dogs, ignores cats, but he does seem to have a thing for slippers. Not house trained, but we will try to work on that as much as possible, too.
