While writing and worldbuilding, I had this concept of Dragons in Gindrax's world being capable of shapeshifting into their other "beast halves"...yet still leaving behind remnants of their dragon forms! Gindrax's "beast half" is half Yellow-billed Magpie. They can only revert to their Dragon form with natural Magical Elements.
