This is a quick draw of my young self that was inspired simply from my childhood memory of an old 1948 cartoon I used to grow up with. If this picture has to make any sense, you better read this wall of text...
It was inspired from an old Casper cartoon called "There's Good Boos Tonight", and I was reminded of this cartoon from ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com's segment called "That Guy Riffs", where he took this whole cartoon and riffed it. Even though the riff was enjoyable, I knew I had to look up the original cartoon and watch it again to rekindle my long-lost thoughts and feelings for this toon...
This cartoon is what I consider a classic. It is where Casper, who couldn't find a friend despite him being a ghost (naturally), comes across a little fox who doesn't seem to care he's a ghost and decides to be his friend. Casper named him Ferdie Fox... I won't spoil what happens in the cartoon, but the story overall has mixed reactions for me whether I should feel happy or so depressed by what happens. It is strange, but what I can remember is how I remember having to fascinate over having a fox friend like how Casper got his. And that's what we got here. Young me, with my own Fertie.
It was a heart-warming cartoon, and again, it's one of those cartoons that you might not know how to respond to it until you see it through to the end...

When I saw the end of this cartoon when I was a kid two things happened:
(1) I threw a magazine at the TV set.
(2) I resolved NEVER to watch another Casper cartoon as long as I lived ! I boycotted them until the new series came out recently based on the feature movie, and while those were heterodox compared to the Harvey comics, they were intreresting...
