As TL9 Grav technology 'matures', more applications become mainstream. Generally fusion power plants are still way too bulky for anything but the most expensive vehicles, but it does show up in more military vehicles, including the first grav tanks.
The Konev pictured here is a 'budget' grav tank, with passable armor and all around good firepower for its tech level. Though fully sealed, its still vulnerable to EMP, and upgrading the systems to protect against such an event would over double the price. The Konev is very fast, and hits hard for a grav tank, and at the price, an army could field 2-3 times as many as the 'average' military at the same tech level. Made by Cruiser Motors.
The Lawrence is one of Leeds Aerospace's few models venturing into basic utility limited to a planet's atmosphere. As such it's basically a light grav 'jeep', carrying 4 people relatively quickly, or with each removed and put to the side, a modest amount of cargo at a significant reduction in performance. This model is common around military bases of all of Neu Samara's armed services for at least 20 years after introduction, even after the advent of some newer, TL10 technology.
The Tupolev is your basic bubble-police-car patrol vehicle. Its slightly up-armored for a light vehicle to protect against small arms fire, but not by much, especially compared to heavy weapons or higher tech portable energy weapons. Its fast, inexpensive for its capabilities, and easy to use. The Tupolev becomes widespread very quickly, and as the Neu Samara's TL advances, the basic frame is pretty much held through a number of power and computer systems upgrades, even into mature TL11 era.
Aside from police and paramilitary uses, its high visibility cockpit makes it popular for terrestrial planetary exploration, news and traffic reporting, and animal conservation.
Of these three vehicles, only the Tupolev is exported in any large number, oddly enough eventually becoming one of the symbols of Neu Samara's interstellar civilization. This original model will be mass produced even on Neu Samara's colonies and even, potentially, its breakaway states.
