i took milka to hot topic today. he found some band tees he liked but when he looked at the jewelry he said he wants to get his nose pierced. i told him not until he’s 3 and he kinda sulked but we got dippin dots afterwards and he perked right up

milka's too young to have a credit card (thank god) so he begs me to order him clothes. i got him these checkered leg warmers. then he whined that he has 4 legs so i bought another pair. then he said he likes to mis-match them so i bought a pair of pink/white checkered leg warmers. now he says he only mis-matches the patterns, not different colors of the same pattern. he's not getting any more

father’s day is always a little upsetting to milka because he never met his biological father. but ever since he was 4 he’s celebrated by making me breakfast in bed. his creations are not good but i pretend they are. this year he made me dog food cream sauce over potato chips

it's milka's 17th birthday (17 in sparkledog years) so i got someone to draw a chibi picture. whenever he gets art of himself he jumps and woofs. he's too "cool" to woof most of the time. i didn't get him the red-trim converse hi-top shoes he wanted because they won't fit him

milka is very popular at school and has both sparkledog and people friends. but he's also been the victim of gossip. some skaters are saying he's not a purebred sparkledog. instead of rising above it, he's now starting rumors about them. *sigh* he's still a puppy in many ways

milka’s 17th birthday is coming up (keep in mind sparkledogs have 7 birthdays a year) so i commissioned a drawing of him. he woofs and wags his tail when he gets new art

obviously i’m not milka’s biological father, but when he was a sparklepuppy he always called me dad. lately he’s been using my first name instead. he seems distant and withdrawn, and he won’t talk about his feelings. should i be worried or is this just a teenager thing?

milka’s on summer vacation now, but he was more concerned with what to wear for the last day of school than his report card. he wants to drop out and get his GED but he only has one year of highschool left. i told him that wouldn’t help getting a scholarship for art school
