...I really can't believe this came out as well as it did. Granted, it could still be better, but...yes.

Cinder's anthro form is, indeed, an echidna. For the most part I have a mini-beef with echidna fan characters. It's not like I hate them. In fact, of the three 'generic' Sonic fan species, they're less common and usually more original looking.

What's my beef?

Making it a fancharacter and incorporating it into the Gameverse would be impossible, since there's only one echidna left in existance. Granted, I'm sure someone could thing up a believable reason as to why there's more than one, but I sure as hell can't right now (unless you go by the archie universe, then this beef is not valid. I, however, go by the gameverse for the most part.). I could if I thought about it, but...eh. No effort.

HOWEVER, most of the echidna characters I make (and trust me, I don't make that many), I don't incorporate with the Sonicverse at all; I just use them as characters in my own anthroverses. Cin is no exception.

Regardless, it doesn't matter. Cinder is dead (or at least it's presumed that he is).

But when he was alive, he and Cig were the best of friends, and probably also passionate lovers. Not saying it as a fact, but...

I just wanted to draw the two of them together. Cinder was actually an alternate design for Cigarette, but I liked it so much I just had to use it. If it wasn't obvious, they were also smoking buddies (granted, most of it was underaged smoking, but I assume Cinder is still a year or so older than Cig).

Also, they're both grey, as I stated before (since the joke behind their names is smoking and fire, I wanted them to be smoggy in color), just different shades.

I almost want to incorporate them into the VSYverse (the one where Junior and Dustin come from), but I don't have a way of incorporating them at all. For now, they'll just be RP characters. <3
