After the successful join pirate hunting skirmish, the Brallü Expeditionary fleet returned to the capital world of Gjrana II, Esrimmir, to do minor repairs, refuel and resupply. These actions can at least a week, so the crew was allowed to leave and spend some time on the surface.
Esrimmir is a hot planet, with only its northern and southern regions being chill enough to be comfortably inhabited, though these can be still scorching hot at times.
Much of the crew went to the beaches, enjoyed the lively nightlife scene and famous teahouses of the system capital, Isna-Em.
Medolovonza did the same, and after a lovely week, she wanted to surprise her crew mates with a special treat, a box of Delmasrülli; a fruity sour chocolate that becomes sweeter the more you eat of it, with that effect lasting for hours.

Stupendous. <3
I've always admired the rich detail you pack into your images, and the same is true of your world-building, in every post you write, to accompany your sumptuous visuals.
Also, I love that guy back there, behind the shelf, on the left, spiking the lens. Just staring straight down the barrel of the camera, haha.

Aw thank you!
Yee, mundane parts are important in my opinion; one could show epic cities, landscapes but not every part of the world is in top notch condition and all flashy; this is just your average corner shop that the locals use daily; its a bit worn in, functional but unassuming ^^

Medolovonza as well as the scenery is incredible here, everything is just so full of personality and their own story even without much accompanying text which shows how rich and nuanced your works are in immersing your audience
Her friends will love the Delmasrülli for sure :)

I tried my best to give a vibe, just a slice of life of people in the odraani living their peaceful lives. Small imperfections wear n tear on in the shop; it's not a fancy, stylish one, just a small corner shop in the capital.
I really enjoy this kind of worldbuilding, leaving more to the viewers interpretation; leaves a much more interesting experience imo!
They did!! <3

The detail is really impressive ^^ the Odraani wolrds are so colorful! And more of Medolovonza is always appreciated, especially showing how caring she was to her comrades.
+knowing that the Kamrili crew had a wonderful week before null doesn't make it better but lets hope they got some rest.
Also that SUPER CUTE lizard baby in the background oh my god!!

Yee, wanted to grab a chance to show a bit of the diff worlds, cultures of the Odraani, being a tourist on a different planet is something most of the crew never experienced .3. Everyone returned with gifts, trinkets or snacks to share once getting home ;3;
Thank youu! Had this idea that odra babies are born as actual feral looking lizards and grow/morph into anthros over a few years :D

Again, I love your Odraani world ^^ so much to discover, and so many cultures like and clothing tsyles like the mother has! And yeah, rest to the Kamrili and the crews families. And the poor officials who know the truth....
One question, the patterns on Medo´s tail and arm are tattoos, or?
That idea is really lovely! i mean real baby´s look somewhat feral. Also I love the detail of the tail, it is sure to grow up to be a big lizard!

Imperfections give character imo ^^
It's nice to have a perfect, clean store, but not as easy to maintain as such forever. Once these shelves were new, with perfect paint that got worn down or chipped away as people moved items or new equipotent came in and the pre-existing wiring wasnt in the right place.
I love seeing stuff like that IRL, just wish I had a better memory recalling them ;3;

Given that the crew visits different planets, how do crews, colonists, and other travelers adapt to different planets' gravity? Are new colonies founded only on planets within the species' gravity tolerance, or is there special technology that allows for planets with greater or lesser than normal gravity to be inhabited long-term?
The Odraani does have a special designation for planets with the ideal conditions to support multiple species' gravity and environmental tolerance - the so-called "Golden Worlds" - Vasma happens to be one of them
The Odraani have also developed artifical gravity projectors to stabilize gravity in ports of entry to help travelers adapt as well as in otherwise inhospitable planets, but it's yet to be widely deployed in most gravity-unfriendly planetsso far because of cost and maintenance considerations
So yes, colonies are mostly found on planets where they are suitable or is viable for terraforming and artifical gravity deployment - otherwise they're simply left alone or only temporarily occupied by the military

Aaa they only settle on words that have a very similar gravity to their homeworld, therefore they dont have that many worlds colonised despite having access to so many world. They often do extensive terraforming to make one suitable.
Gravity projectors exist - they buy them from an advanced ally - but only used on settlements in a limited fashion, mainly research or mining outposts ^^
