Substantial Renovation - Comic Edition (step 3)
Step three incorporates the physical and anatomical fixes I made to the lineart, in addition to straightening the linework of the bedframe--the other fixes I proposed were left alone.
This is the last fix before I start to color. Normally I would have made these changes at the pencil stage, but this is an old picture and those mistakes went unnoticed by me at the time.
See if you can spot the differences between Step Two and this one:
Roland:
--reshaped toes on both feet
--reshaped both thighs--initially they were pipe-straight
Tatiana:
--Repositioned right forearm so it falls in front of her thigh
--Rounded the right-hand breast and slightly shifted its position (by re-curving the stretch lines between the breasts) so it would appear to have been pushed by her right arm as it swings forward
--Extended her left breast outward slightly. As her shoulders are rotating in the direction of her leading arm, it would tend to rotate her chest in the opposite direction
--Rounded the left shoulder
--Removed indentation in left knee
--Rounded left hip
--flattened the curve of the bottom of her left shorts leg
--Removed discontinuity in line forming the outer edge of her right thigh
--Reversed curve of center seam of her bike shorts. With her left leg swung forward, her hips would rotate in the opposite direction at the same time they tilt toward the raised leg
--Reduced the lineweight of the line seperating her tank top and shorts, and slightly bloused the tank top at the waistband
Comments are invited. I'll wait a couple of days more before I start coloring.
