Haven't had much time to draw lately, on account of work ;-_-
Anyways, this is a character for a dieselpunk type of setting I've been thinking of recently, one that takes place in a mostly-unexplored world of industrial factories and jungles full of hostile megafauna. It's sort of an offshoot of a world that me and a friend created a while ago. I still haven't worked out many of its details, though.

Maybe they're just... Tired. Ha ha.
Anyways, thanks! The setting is based on a dieselpunk fantasy world me and our good pal Elmer came up with a while back. It's sort of an offshoot of that, I guess, where I can mess around with some ideas that weren't present in the initial lore.
Roughly, the setting focuses on a supercontinent that was colonized by a species called the Beowend, then abandoned. Nobody knows exactly why the Beowend suddenly took their things and left to their own continent across the sea, but it might have something to do with a strange, seemingly supernatural glow seen on the horizon a little while beforehand. Life is tough on the supercontinent, with most cities built on the shores to avoid the terrifying megafauna that roam the jungles and plains of the interior.
There is a type of magic in the setting, but it isn't pleasant or widely accepted- those afflicted can do unsettling stuff like make their internal organs glow or glimpse the future through nightmarish visions, and usually go nuts or get thrown into an asylum before they can do much with it.
While technology on the supercontinent's mostly limited to sputtering kerosene engines and semi-automatic firearms, more advanced (but equally dangerous and poorly-understood) devices such as crude nuclear generators or even primitive automatons were left behind by the Beowend when they rushed to leave. Society is pretty much a mess with them gone, with multiple groups clashing to fill the power vacuum they left behind.
