Considered in line to be a police chief, Vern left the academy soon after learning the dark secrets of the force. Instead, he was recruited by a certain Night Fox to assist them in their goal for a better future. However, Vern does still miss a bit about his time at the academy, especially a certain land shark who was more then just his training partner.
