What he was doing was too complicated to explain so instead he put his paws together and continued his meditation. He opened his wings slightly, catching the cold chill in the wind. He thought about icy places; a snow covered tundra, a desert at night, a walk-in freezer. As Mro concentrated, the magic inside him grew sluggish. If Kambir looked closely they would notice the dragon's breath was visible even though the night air wasn't that cold. That was pretty miraculous, but it was over shadowed by what happened next.
Scales receded from Mro's snout to the edges of his face. His posture straightened up, and his dragon skin appeared to loosen until it became the fabric of a jacket and pants. Watching it was like watching a magic trick, but unfortunately for Mro he wasn't the best magician. His brows scrunched. His attempt to "cool down" was exhausting him and he couldn't hold his concentration any longer. He flung his hands apart, catching himself on a tree trunk before he fell over backwards!
Dragon claws dug into the bark. Mro looked at his hand, then down his arm to the point where the scales ended and fabric began. The boy cursed. He hadn't pushed all of the dragon magic out. It clung to his extremities, encasing his hands and feet in thick dark scales. His tail, wings, and horns were still visible too and looked awkwardly large on his human body.
"Augh!"
Mro grabbed his horns like he was going to rip them off, then he remembered Kambir was just a few feet away. For a moment it looked like red scales were growing over the boy's face, but it was just a blush of embarrassment.
"I told you I'm not good at this!" He started loud but ended quiet with a defeated sigh, "This is the best I can do."

Yes I’m still drawing stuff from this RP. I can’t help it it had a lot of good Mro moments that I wanted to draw!
