Been a while since I made a sword ref. This one is a commission for 
YuriCatslash , a reference to his new mentor character Morikawa Katashi's daisho (katana/wakizashi combo)
As the character is a samurai tasked with protecting the forests of Tsushima island, I decided to research the flora and fauna of the island to pull together a theme of Katashi's duty to its habitat, and I think I pulled it off really well.
