After a tough and gruelling battle, Cayde rests at a comforting bonfire with a thud and a clank of his sword hitting the moist dirt. His head drops to rest onto his aching forearms and the cool wind grazes the grass beneath and the fur on his head. Blaidd standing there watches on and with a relieved grin places his sword next to the bonfire, before walking away he notices Cayde's dropped sword and leans it onto his own. Blaidd walks over to the front of Cayde and buckles his knees, his giant robe follows behind and flows with the cool wind. Blaidd stares into the fire with an accomplished smile on his scarred but reassuring face. His gaze is then shifted to Cayde in a somber pose, his tail is motionless and limp. Blaidd smirks, he then lifts his forearm and extends it until it rests ontop of Caydes head, Cayde's whole body jolted to the surprise but his shoulders quickly drop back down as Blaidd starts to ruffle his hair. Caydes fur starts to bloom followed by the wagging of his tail, to Blaidds delight.

"There there, Tarnished..." The voice of Blaidds raspy and comforting tone rest on Cayde's ears, mixed with the crackleing sound of the fire make this moment one to remember.
