On June 16, I donated his blood for biochemistry tests. I started talking to the doctor about the reasons for his low immunity and predisposition to allergies for no reason. My doctor has been wondering for 2 years about Lucif's jaw and why he doesn't open it. But he hadn't opened it since he was a child. And that was a fatal mistake. Tests have shown that Lucifer is severely lacking vitamins, and especially calcium, which he cannot eat because of his jaw and gums. On the same day when he passed the blood tests, I decided to do an X-ray. Because we got the idea that all his problems are due to the jaw. And.... he had a broken jaw. The main bone was broken into pieces a long time ago. According to the bone callus that has grown in the ferret, it indicates that the fracture is already about 1.5 years old. Lucif lived for more than 1.5 years with a fractured jaw, due to which his immunity dropped, a lack of vitamins and sore gums with teeth. I cried for more than three days without stopping, because I blamed myself for thinking that it was a defect from childhood. He never even showed me that he was in pain, that he had broken something and was an ordinary cheerful ferret.
The ferret is 2 years old, I took him from the kennel when he was 3 months old. And presumably in 4-5 months he broke his jaw. I do not know under what circumstances. Perhaps it didn't even happen under my supervision, because as a child he often stayed with the breeder with his brothers and sisters.

All these days I hoped and prayed to God that doctors from Moscow and St. Petersburg would give permission for the operation. But unfortunately, none of the high-ranking doctors agreed. They said it was dangerous to do the operation, and there was an eye nearby. If he lived peacefully with a fracture for 1.5 years, then let everything remain as it is. I really hoped that the doctor from St. Petersburg would agree. The operation would have to cost about $ 1000, but I would be willing to get into debt just to do the operation, but unfortunately...

With my doctor, we agreed to order imported pills with vitamins so that Lucif could get vitamins from pills, and not from food that he can't eat (he can't eat hard meat, mice, chicken and bones - that is, this is the main food). Now I was left without money, because I spent about 10 thousand rubles (~$200) only on tests, treatment of his gums, X-rays, etc. I calculate this without taking into account the purchase of medicines, unfortunately, I did not save receipts for them.
