It's quite weird that a male dragon has a feminine name(Yujiao means elegant and pure as jade or virgin in Chinese). But it has been a normal part of Liu's life for many years. Obviously things can be really embarrassing when meeting with new ones and he used to be very mad at those who laughed about his name or his girl-like appearance. Maybe all those strange things about him are due to the family's exorcism profession for centuries. According to the available information, the exorcist aristocratic family in the ancient East can only expel evil spirits in eternal silence, and it is too difficult for them to integrate into the society of any era.
But now, after meeting Mo Chinlian, Liu became more talkative and no longer mind his full name being mentioned.

In my story, Liu has a very close connection with Mo Chinlian. And I really like the name by the way. Cause it makes this character more complicated somehow, and also paves the way for his contradictory inner struggle and the conflict between his career and his longing for life.
