I had no breed in mind but he looks like a Swiss Shepherd to me!
the inspiration was a mental disorder called Trichotillomania, aka hair-pulling disorder

I understand the feeling I have the skin-picking 'cousin', only recently I was told my back is full of scars
I wasn't aware the severity, I didn't even knew about this disorder, so I started reading about it
which is what lead me to learn about the hair-picking 'cousin' and it inspired me

Oh yes, I'm ok! It's been much more manageable as an adult and I have learned a lot of coping skills through therapy and such.
I love that he embraces his conditions and found a way to make himself feel confident, even through the anxiety of his condition. It sends a positive message to me. <3 My heart goes out to anyone with similar conditions.
