Unstable demonic nature that Raji is affected by changed his appearance a lot, making him almost completely new creature with a same mind of a mild sweet beast. However, he quickly discovered other less noticeable effects on his body.
Like all demons in Varn, Raji have a rapid regeneration abilities and complete immunity to heat, fire and lava. Demonic raccoon is very warm even in cold, while able (and really likes to) take baths in underground caves, which is why even with his lazy lifestyle and lack of hygiene he remains clean most of the times. No fleas or dirt can survive molten magma! So does Raji's shorts... but after a awkward accident he learned to not take any flammable things with him when he go to take a hot bath...
