By 2199, the auxiliary power remaining in the capsule reached its minimum level forcing it to open and thaw its user, awakening Wedge in an already abandoned but more geologically stable Volstok, so now alone and with no apparent chances of getting off the planet the zoosapien set out to find technology left behind by CASE and NASA in his escape and other resources that would serve him to survive, being for 8 years setting up a secure base with artificial crops and a repaired communications tower with which he tried to send an SOS, without success in receiving answers, but to his good fortune finally one day a Garlesh ship was stranded on the planet, a familiar looking red and orange Atilkian he remembered seeing helping them during the war, which was boarded by Niru, Tyco, Skytten and Claire, who after an unexpected reunion helped the reptile to finally leave that planet after 200 years stranded and took him after several conflicts with the Kor'vlann aboard the Soul of Glory back to Earth, where he performed to guide future space explorers to survive on exoplanets with similar conditions and became deputy commander of the Soul of Glory some time later.
