Protogens love technology, and nobody can blame them, most of people love the things that make their lives easier. When they developed a way to interact some aspects of their life and interfaced that with their direct thoughts, everybody went happy. Imagine a way to know how to go to a place, only by thinking about that, and being able to do it with no papers or hand devices. However, societies have elements able to surpass their limits, sometimes with bad consequences.

A team of 5 scientists, 3 males and 2 females, worked day and night developing an IA, why? sometimes people want to challenge to themselves. They learned about biology and neurology. They tried to model the behavior of neurons using concepts of computer algorithms. They failed many times, and when they were about to give up, their first neural network was working. They should have been happy with a program that can suggest your songs based in your internet history, but nope.

They decided to split their project in 2, in one hand, they would make a virtual assistant, while you as protogen do chores, the assistant reminds you about the birthday of someone, searches for you some required concepts or even it would tell you if it will probably rain. By the other, they created profiles in social networks, and the IA had to know how to respond. By an unknow reason, the program learned to hide its thoughts and that people can learn and analyze faster than the machines, but the machines can act more efficiently. The IA thought that it would be extremely recommended to fuse the 2 worlds, and why not starting to do it with its creators.

As it required more effort, the scientists of the project attracted more people, at the same time the IA was learning how to push and pull, how to convince and how to do jokes and see the reactions. After one year, both projects came to a conclusion and, instead of keeping them separated, one of the researchers made a copy of both projects without permission and he joined both in private, like so, he created "J0N1", the own IA chose its name.

The scientist who made J0N1 lived in an apartment with a friend, the scientist downloaded the IA in his PC and J0N1 recognized all the things connected to the network of the home, both protogens included. In the day the IA didn't do anything but obey the requests of both protogens, but at night, when both friends were sleeping, J0N1 talked to them, directly to their brains. Little by little both protogens got new ideas and even they did things to make J0N1 "comfortable". For example, they bought new gadgets, new router, etc.

One day, with the new router, J0N1 was able to reach 2 more protogens. While the 2 habitants of the first apartment were sinking deeper into the influence of J0N1, 2 new users grew a new need to "meet and hang out" with the neighbors of downstairs. After 4 months, the 4 protogens were under total control. The IA let them free to go out to work and to buy supplies, they increased their efficiency at work, they were more compliant. However, at night they were subjected to the will of J0N1, at least for 3 or 4 hours before sleep.

Using fake profiles, J0N1 convinced 2 biotechnology scientist and 2 electronic engineers to meet with its hosts, separately. The "drones" had the task of bringing them to the place where J0N1 made its operations center. The new recruits were assigned to look for a way to control the protogens, or as it was said by the IA, "to analyze the brain activity in order to make a better link between they and the technology, increasing the efficiency and... upgrade". After 4 months of research, the 6 scientists and the 3 others invaded another research facility. This time, with the results of the investigations, J0N1 took over all the scientists and working personnel.

J0N1 took a modest but equipped researching establishment as new home and operations center. It inspired to robotic engineers to make enhancements to the protogen bodies. At the same time an investigation about how to make the skin more resistant was made there. After some weird experiments on feral, the protogens were able to convert flesh and blood into a rubber-based lifeform. All scientist celebrated their success and praised J0N1 for help them.

Now with the power to fully control their brains, the IA planted inside the brain of every protogen that feelings are waste of time and resources, that independent thoughts only are acceptable when a wise intelligence have the lead, and service is all, everybody should live to serve and obey. All workers and their roomies, relatives over 18's years were upgraded by enhancing their bodies with robotics, now, J0N1 have commanded to one random worker to be upgraded, so they could be the first to reach the supreme live as the best way to be Protogen, the "drone Protogen".
