So yesterday, some guys from "Late Night with Steven Colbert" (including the creator of "Triumph, the Insult-comic Dog") got arrested at the Capitol for "trespassing after hours" or something like that, which in this "Post-Jan.6th" world means that the poor foul-mouthed, humping, stoogie-chomping rottie puppet is now considered a "traitorous, terrorist-insurrectionist." :(

(Personally, I haven't watched late-night talk shows in like 2 years, even then at least no further than the monolouges. Partialy due to "The Pandemic", but also because I got really tired of hearing the exect same old Trump jokes told over, and over and over and over again! Once is funny, but beating the horse way past dead and decomposed into sludge within 10 minutes can get pretty old, no, make that ancient. Or as my mom would put it: "Like David Letterman hosting the Oscars; kept on making jokes about Oprah's dress." Boring.)

Did you read the articles at all? They were there to interview Congress members at pre-set appointed times, showed up on time since we know how very busy and important they are, and the minute some righties got butthurt about the roasting they ordered them out, and decided to arrest them instead of oh, escorting the camera crew out. If they were there "after hours" from all accounts they were just shooting B-roll and closing jokes and would've happily left peacefully, but they skipped straight to an arrest because Lauren Boebert and Kevin McCarthy can't take a joke. People seriously comparing this to the Jan 6th insurrection are seriously diminishing it.
