Macro characters always leave me thinking about the logistics. What do they eat? Who makes their clothes? Where do they live? How do they avoid crushing things and people? I know it's just fantasy but I can't help it.

I think that if you can grow people, you can grow food, as well as clothing.

And avoiding crushing people? Yeah, I don't have an answer for that except "always look down."
