Another lovely sketch drawn by the awesome teaselbone. It's not by a chance that Shai-Ra seems to come across these scarab beetles so often - he's picked up a curse of sorts during one of his tomb spelunking runs!
Something he's gotta get rid of in the nearby future, methinks :p

The way I see it those beetles are there to worship at the feet of their one true savior 🪲🐾🐍💕🙌🏻 Maybe the real “curse” on display here is that the beetles used to be people forced to live out their lives wandering the dunes (that is until a gorgeous set of paws show up to make their lives so much better !!) 🤔💭
Kind of a dark thing to say but if this is how they meet their end it’d probably be the best way to go 🐍🐾💥🪲💀 At least they would’ve ended up in a beautiful paw shaped heaven 🤣
Plus I wanna point out the one on his toe is my hero for being the bravest and chances are lives his paws as much as I do 🙌🏻💕
