Stalking the grass

Yellowstone National Park is where I found this guy. Just off the side of the road, wandering through this clearing for a patch of good grass or maybe on his way to a place where he could get a drink. Beautiful deer. Full, velvety rack and decent sized.

now this is what nature is all about shooting them with cameras instead of a boom stick. glad you saw and got a picture of this deer. i almost touched one by the boise river i was so close to it i stood still but man that was awesome

Its always amazing when you can get this close to untame nature. There is a magnificence in their life as much as in their demise. An amazing circle of life that started before we knew what to call it.

indeed. its better to see a deer alive and that will be around for its fawns not on some guys wall you cant love nature that way.
