Zalumnee - Considerations [Concept]
Concept art for a bigger animation project idea I'm currently brainstorming for.
There will yet have to be a lot more work put into this before it will bear any fruits but I'm looking forward to tell this story of her.
Context:
The young witchcraft student Zalumnee has just opened her store of the occult but business does not run well for her. Even worse, when her competition starts ridiculing her attempts to make a living off of selling her grotesque wares. Rightfully, yet perhaps arrogantly, she stands up and defends herself, even challenging them to a bet: the one who has the least customers until dawn has to pack up their things and leave the marketplace, never to return again.
Though time is running out for her now. Nobody is showing up at her counter to buy, all she can do is to watch the flies and hope the cards have a good fortune to tell her...

Excited to see where this animation thing leads to! ^^
Always thought Zalumnee was somehow a fair bit older but from the description guess not, unless this was like an event back in the past. Cool to see more of her though. Really like the wasteland desert background and looking at all the various trinkets are quite nice!
