First off, I know it's short. I haven't written much of it yet. I just figured I would post the prelude here to see what people think. I am NOT a writer, and I don't claim to be, so I'm sure I have plenty of mistakes as well.

Comments are welcome, critiques too. If anyone would like to correct spelling, grammar or what not that would be fine. I will make changes if I find them necessary. The title is a work in progress just as much as the fiction itself, but for now the title fits the area of the story. Anyone interested in reading more of it? Should I scrap the idea and try something else?
