Pinned by a wary green gaze, a lifted lip would freeze the intruder in place as the watchful eye of the Ha'aowk performed her duty. Life was dangerous and hard in the canopies of All-Hollow, just as dangerous as far below. Ka'ahkai was known in her clan as one of the swiftest, the most fearless, and the most ambitious. Eager to rise in rank within her clan, her zeal for her duties saw her roaming far and wide. A scout, a roamer, one of the many fleet-footed Ha'aow that patrolled the wide territory that served the clan of the All-Hollow forest canopy. On the rare occasion a stranger arrived from another clan - another territory - they were often found very quickly and ousted posthaste.
