“Get it!” the raspy voice called out.
Siddel had been spotted, and that was irritating. In such a small area on this roof he wouldn’t be able to use his spear. Quickly he slipped out of the alcove he had been hiding in to get away. Behind him were two very irritated frilled lizards. Ohh! Those were the two he had warrants for anyways. That was a bonus.
“Which Inhibitor is that?” one asked the other
“Gin-Sop,” the other responded.
Siddel was deft like no other species on Endoryn. He worked through tight spaces without slowing down a step. Though it wouldn’t help much. He heard the frillies easily scaling and running along the top of the obstacles he ran through. Finally, he reached the edge of the building top. The one next-door was only a few spans. His hands glowed for a moment, and he formed a quick set of interlaced circles. One pushed, the other pulled. With the pushing one under his foot, he braced it in and flung himself across to the other building.
“Neat trick chippy,” a lizard said as it jumped in the air next to him.
Its tail lashed his arm, which forced him to drop his spear.
“Darn it, so much for less-than-lethal then,” he said to the lizard as he landed on the rooftop. As he did so he formed a Leinic throne in each hand. One focused, the other amplified. A glowing circled appeared created from these thrones directly in front of his mouth. It was directed at the lizard that had landed with him. He shouted into it, though there was no sound. Just the tone of ringing ears and silence as the compression wave pressed out of the ring and directly onto the lizard. The shockwave was so heavy that it was flung several feet. He turned quickly, the thrones still held as the other one landed and charged.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t warn the lizard, as any talking would be lethal. Those that were not sensitive to Lein, could not see the thrones. Truly tragic, but he shouted anyways. The compression wave hit this frilly strong enough that it tore some of its frill away and caved in its chest as it was flung. Siddel waited a moment to see if more of these criminals were going to fall on him. A few moments of silence told him that it was safe now then approached the two. Both were still breathing, lucky. He lifted his sleeve to his muzzle and spoke into it.
“This’n has disabled Site-Cleaner and Maid-Misery. Those’n are injured and need medical. Glass-Eye-Giver is still at large,” Siddel said.
