Just taking a quick break from posting my past artwork, to post a piece that's very much from the present day.

For the benefit of the younger half of my audience, The Space Gypsy Adventures is a radio series that's been running, on-and-off, on hospital radio stations across the UK since 1986. Much like SPCM, it's best described as a furry space opera, so naturally I was bound to get hooked on it. Indeed, it was the main catalyst in the chain of events that lead to the creation of SPCM. If you've enjoyed my work, I'd very much recommend checking out Space Gypsy (mainly because most of SPCM is almost unfathomable otherwise).

Anyway, the lead character of this series is Gemma Mildury, a lovely lady fox, who is the titular space gypsy herself. Much like me, the creator of the series made a note of the day he originally created the character - June 15th 1985 - which later became Gemma's in-universe birthday. As such, today happens to be her 37th birthday...
...At least, in real life. In-universe, Gemma's age is a bit more of a mystery - and she prefers to keep it that way, for reasons best explained by actually listening to the series. It has been hinted, though, that she's somewhere in her early-20s.

In any case, it was both this age confusion and the anniversary that prompted me to do this piece. But as some of my longer-standing fans could tell you, any meeting between Gemma Mildury and Jaws MacTaggart can only end in disaster...
