Scooby-Doo (2002) 20th Anniversary!
Yes everybody today's the 20th anniversary of the live action Scooby-Doo movie! 20 years ago the loveable Great Dane and the Mystery Inc. gang made their debut on the big screen in the summer of 2002 going to Spooky Island to find out about the mystery of the college being possessed and then finding out that Emile Mondivarious was actually Scrappy in disguise with the real Mondivarious being locked up in a vault. (Spoilers for those who haven't seen the film) but yes 20 years ago today since the film hit theaters! Starring: Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Linda Cardellini, Matthew Lillard, Neil Fanning, Isla Fisher, Rowan Atkinson, Miguel A. Núñez Jr., Scott Innes, Charlie Cousins. And it also starrs some cameos like: Pamela Anderson, Sugar Ray, and many others. And yes the same James Gunn that worked on those mediocre Marvel movies worked on this film he pretty much made Scrappy the main villain due to his hatred of the character. But anyways Happy 20th Anniversary to this childhood classic of mines, it doesn't deserve the hate it has it deserves more love ya know? Fuck the people who hate on this film, they've got poor taste in movies anyway. This was also one of the last projects that William Hanna and Joseph Barbera worked on BTW as William Hanna would pass away in 2001.
