Phoebe, certified and published pegasus astronomer, lost her wings in a freak magic accident long before the birth of her son, Contrail. Though she grew used to life on the ground, she had always wanted to find a way to fly again.

Her son and his wife, being both aeronautic engineers, devised a way to do just that with the creation of their first JetSuit. The engines were developed with the help of Breezie technology; everything is scaled down to a minute level and is also organically flexible. They make little noise or wake, but require special tools and materials to maintain. They are fueled with small dense ethanol cells, and throttle inputs are made via stimulation of the remaining muscles Phoebe's wingroots.

The wingsuit itself is fairly standard. Though it could have probably been made simpler, Contrail knew his mom would prefer a full bodysuit in any case. Flying in this fashion isn't easy to get used to, but Phoebe intends to master it.
