Old work, retouched.

"January 15, 2006
A dream.
I was a half wolf, half cat anthromorph wearing some sort of ceremonial loincloth with runes. I don't know where I am, but it feels strangely familiar; A tree and dense undergrowth in front of me, to my right was a steep passage leading down to a cave flooded with clear waters. I look down on the clear waters and see that my eyes were blank, no iris-- just white. To my left was a passage leading up to a mountain path-- a blind corner. The Progenitor Keeper Destroyer theme music from Homeworld 2 starts playing, and with it two blades with bandages wrapped around them to serve as makeshift hilts appear on my hands. All of the sudden, I was able to do a feat of agility and dexterity that I wouldn't have known (nor do I wish to) I could do in reality, a sword dance. During the dance, the blades hung dangerously close to my skin at all times. At the end of the dance, I thrust one blade into myself with my offhand and twisted but felt absolutely no pain. Right then and there, however, I knew someone had died; and I smiled not of my own will.
I woke up."
