Not really sure what it was.. I believe it was a mill for crushing ore while mining. It was attached to an old car engine XD

The car engine would turn the large wheel to the right wheel and that, via a belt, whould turn the other flywheels which would lift and drop the weightin the middle. The miner would feed the ore down the trough into the crusher wher ethe ore would be smashed and the gold sifted out... at least that's my guess lol
