"un/caged"

the gradients option in procreate is amazing xD but i still wanted to keep the one where you can see the colour differences, because that was the main idea of this art
on the left side, warm colours - a representation of the emotional side of me that needs faith, love, feelings, certainty and is afraid of losing it
the sides also matter, because the left side reminds me of the side on which I wear mala and I have a semicolon tattoo, which I identify with my will to live
+ clubs is a symbol of the emotional/spiritual sphere
on the right there are cold colours - a representation of that part of me that wants to cut itself off from everything, from needs, unnecessary emotions and to approach everything coolly, because this is how you can avoid the pain of loss
the right side has a simple metaphor - I associate it with the word "truth", and I combine it with realism, facts, calculation
+ spades is a symbol of intellect
the title itself is also not accidental - un/caged can be translated into one that is closed and limited, and at the same time not
the prefix "un" is written on the left side (because that side is the one that is not limited by the cold, which wants to be free, make dreams come true), "caged" is on the right (because the right side is the one that must limit itself and refrain from emotions and needs)
I get the feeling that some of my behaviours that I'm not proud of, are because I want to prove to people that they don't know the real me
that i want to show them what's inside - a weak, fragile, annoying creature that some people seem not to notice, and are therefore able to love me
I don't believe anyone could love my negativity, so I try to hide it anyway
but it's hard & tiring shock
as if you are a slave to your own desires, because you are afraid that these needs are wrong, they should not exist, they only cause bad things
