On June 12, 1898, this is when the Philippine Independence Day was born after 333 years ruled by the Spaniards. This year, it is now the 124th year of Philippine Independence Day.
By the way, the characters written here are Baybayin, which is an old writing system before the Spaniards colonized the Philippines, and it means "Mabuhay Pilipinas!"
