Considered one of the earliest species to join the United Systems, Selkit are a semi-terrestrial race of seal-like organisms. Despite living on land about half of their life, they only have gills, and have adapted to live on land with specialized fur insulation and protection. Proud warriors, their evolved electric organ may seem useless outside of the medium of water - but their use of conductive metal weapons gives them a unique advantage in melee combat!
