Almasi, a prideless traveler.
She's quite charismatic and loves to build a rapport with those she meets on her many journeys. She's among many who find pride life uninteresting, but is known by many pride lions as one game for a laugh, and a handy helper on hunts... provided she's allowed to eat with the other huntresses!
Given she was not biased toward his dashing older brother, having no particular reason to be, Scar finds her company tolerable during her occasional time spent in the Pridelands. Scar's cynicism and hers were enough for the two to build a jovial rapport and become at least mild friends.
She learns of Mufasa's death, and is surprised, but not particularly moved.
She's gray-asexual and aromantic, but during the cyclical dry-season that fell over the reign of Scar, she agreed to bear him a cub seeing the lack of potential lionesses still grieving for the loss of Mufasa. They weren't romantically involved, and as far as morals go, hers were more neutrally aligned. That isn't to say she would have condoned the murder of his brother, but pride politics were not a favorite past-time of hers, and she avoided them whenever she could.
Almasi raised Zira during the reign of Scar, agreeing to stay until she was weaned, and departed for greener savannas.
