Hypno dragon creature thing
Just wanted to take a minute and flesh out the character design of the creature from this a bit... it's a very quick crappy flat paint job with a digital background because I was too lazy to paint one, and it was better than the glaring white. x3
To be honest I didn't really have a character in mind when I came up with the idea, just something small. But I couldn't get a dragon-like image out of my head, so I went with something sorta like that. Colours and anatomy are subject to changes, but for now I think it could work. Nothing here is particularly new or creative... I've never been good at that sort of thing. Just some random designes dragged out of my brain that seem to do the job.
Excuse the terrible colouring if you can. A real picture is coming along, and the next one will have another victim as well! :P
It's about a foot and a half tall all said and done, smooth skin, more like a lizard or amphibian than a dragon. Two toes and three fingers, all webbed. One tail, though it appears as two wrapped together, they can't be seperated. The exact design on the tail will need some thinking out, but for now this will do. It's floating by the way, not balancing on it's tail. Psychic things can fly, right? It's like a law. x3
Ignoring the terrible colouring, comments on the actual colours and design are certainly welcome! Posting to scraps.

Well he might, except he's not really a "he" to begin with. I wouldn't know how to describe it's gender, I don't think I want to put that kind of thought into it anyway. He's pretty much just an excuse to draw hypnoporn. xD
I'm sure it could make her feel all kinds of fun things, though it might be tricky to draw it in a way that shows much :P

I'm working on that... I have a picture with a female in the works, though it's a bit different and she's being used for other purposes for the moment. I'll have to figure out just how to get the feeling right with a girl to avoid making it look really odd, but for now this'll be a start. x3
Hmmm... I think you made him too sharp looking... Like, if I'm guessing your intent right, he should look... softer. All those spikes and the pointed fingers and toes give him a look of potential danger. The original picture, with the smooth bumps down his back and the wide, paw like fingers and toes made it seem so disarmingly cute.
Still, it's a wonderful concept ^_____^ My personal opinion on his looks won't change that any.

Hrm... I think I put my response to your comment somewhere in the response to the guy below you xD Anyway, I would say they're not spines, so much as a membrane, that could easily fold down and would be relatively soft. And the fingers and toes were more like my default, fox-like digits, since I don't know how to do much else, but I knew from the start I was going to be changing those. :P
I suppose just what exactly happens to you depends on what he wants. The zoned out expression and poses are just to re-inforce the idea of what's really happening here, and because I'm a sadistic freak and like the idea of being able to control someone else's body like that xD But I suppose if they wanted there's no reason they couldn't simply be along for the ride, or have other degrees of lesser influence than absolute and total brain-override.
Imagine one instead giving you such an incredible urge to climax that you can't resist and have to paw then and there, but are still more or less in full control of yourself... there's an interesting scenario to toy with... x3

I nearly prefer the idea of two tails that it can braid/straighten to show mood, but that would probably get hella annoying to draw.
Love the ears, but the back spines seem... either too large or too sharp. If they're rigid he can't lie under people without destroying the bed.
There's enough blue that it looks a little alien (which you're going for). I'm not good with colours, but I did imagine him a bit paler (I think). Maybe more washed-out green tones but the same deep blue? It'll probably look horrible; I'm bad with colours.
I'm also probably going to try and write an encounter with one... but not right now. I'll be sure to ask you questions about what they're like if I get stuck (and if you want a character involved or not).

Well the design is still sort of up in the air, I usually need to draw things for quite a while before I settle on one I like. For the tail I just wanted to do something sorta different, so having it look sort of like a helix was what my hand ended up doing... having them seperate would basically just make for two tails which is a lot more common if you ask me. x3 The trick is just to think of it as one, oddly shaped tail :P

I believe the round protrusions he had in the first version look better than the aquatic fins, they made him look more alien and less generic, and looked better even ignoring these 2 factors c: just my 2 copper pieces.
Oh, and on his feet, didn't he have 3 toes before? :o why not keep the same number of toes as fingers on his hand?.
I like the colors, I don't think the coloring is crappy, and the eye looks holy shit creepy, but I like it :} the relaxed expression on his face compensates for it.

They may have been a bit more unique, but I just didn't like them very much. The fin is a bit more done sure, but I like it a lot more, too. I don't care if it's absolutely unique. x3
He did indeed have three toes before, but that was just a quick first sketch without putting much thought into it. When I worked it over a bit I decided to go with what I've got here. The reason for the extra finger is basically just so he could have a thumb.

You know...from a artistic standpoint, I like the twisted tail It gives a nice visual to how they twine their minds with those they link with.
If those were actually two tails, that could be a neat way to show when they are using their abilities as well. Tails separate when just running around, but twined when they are hypnotizing folks.
