iPoke 's awesome character Antar :D
His race and his character really resonate with me for some reason. A really awesome character who has some serious staying power; I've got to come back to 'Poke's gallery once a day at least.. ^^;
I wanted to put him in a different sort of environment, and I liked the dynamics of a blizzard / snowstorm sort of thing, so I put him in there. He would usually always have his helmet on- but I really wanted to show his face, as dangerous as it would be in a gunfight. I got around this by suggesting he lost it; there's a sizable "wound" in the armor's neck area, so perhaps it was destroyed beyond use during that volley of fire? I banged up the armor in a couple of other places (:'( the Guard's armor is so cool... it hurt to damage it) to further suggest this notion of helmet loss. X)
I'm kind of a texture whore. I have a lot in here, both in the forms of custom brushes and scanned in digital photos. :D Done all in PSCS4 with a derpy wacom pad.
My style is pretty different (as in shoddily sketchy) compared to iPoke, but I tried to remain true to all of the Antar art that he's produced. :)
