The magisters of House Telvanni are notoriously isolationist and are at best, indifferent to those outside the Houses's structure and at worst, hostile, even among the Dunmer people. However, they are not above providing hospitality to those they deem worthy of such a gesture, provided they get something in return. For Telvanni magisters, knowledge is often the price, and some gold usually doesn't hurt either.
The Telvanni mistress, Onyx learning her name to be Anis Salenim, is keen to know what knowledge he can share, especially since finding out he's learned some Daedric magic throughout his travels through texts he's raided in some abandoned Daedric Shrines. What's curious to her is that Daedric magic, and the School of Conjuration as a whole, is one of the more dangerous magics to learn as a weak mage won't be able to control what they conjure and it's been known that occasionally the summoned creature has turned on the one who has bound it.
And yet, he doesn't seem to fully grasp this danger as he has demonstrated the summoning of a Storm Atronach, one of the more powerful elemental golems of Oblivion, without expending much effort and seemingly unafraid of it potentially turning on him.
Is it ignorance and dumb luck that have thus kept him alive while practicing or is it confidence and a power yet unknown?
Over glasses, later many bottles, of Shein, the local Dunmer comberry wine, she listens with interest as he recounts his journeys thus far and where he plans to go from here.
